Practical Skills: Buddy Carry

Part of CrossFit is being ready and able for anything life may hand you--yes, this includes emergency situations.  Knowing the technique for carrying someone who maybe unconscious is a valuable skill.  We are lucky that Coach Josh and Coach John have learned many great techniques through their time in the Army and Navy, respectively.  Today, we got to put their techniques to work!  Many of you learned that carrying someone around your body weight just 200 meters can be exhausting.  I hope you never meet a situation where you have to carry someone from danger, but in case you do, I know you'll be well prepared.  CrossFit strong means prepared for life!

  1. We are told to let our light shine, and if it does, we won't need to tell anybody it does. Lighthouses don't fire cannons to call attention to their shining, they just shine. See the link below for more info.
