Day 41/42 of the 50-day Paleo Challenge: Clean blood, donate blood!
With less than 10 days left on the Paleo Challenge, I urge all you Paleo Challeners to head into your nearest blood bank and donate blood.  Your blood is at its cleanest right now, especially if you haven't cheated during our 50-days, so its a great time to donate. I've donated blood almost every 3 months for the last 2 years and I can tell you the process is simple. If you make an appointment it really only takes about 1-hour out of your day. A few tips to keep in mind: HYDRATE the day before and the day off, eat a solid meal before you donate and eat a solid meal plus fruit after donating, and don't WOD the day you give blood. It takes me a few days to even feel back to normal when I WOD, so be careful and let your class coach know that you gave blood recently. Go here to make an appointment with your local blood bank. I'm scheduled to donate this coming week, I hope you join me in giving our Paleo clean blood!
