Buy Local, Eat Better, and Save Money!

"And while the law of competition may be sometimes hard for the individual, it is best for the race, because it ensures the survival of the fittest in every department."
-Andrew Carnegie

Above: This dinner was made from all local products! The steak was purchased from A'ala Meat Market (located here) and the Bok Choy/Kale medley was purchased at the KCC Farmer's Market. Not only was my meal much fresher than if I had bought mainland products, but it was cheaper. Tomorrow's blog will feature my weekly purchase from the KCC Farmer's Market and how much I was able to buy for only $40.
