U.S. Army First Lieutenant Ashley White, 24, of Alliance, Ohio, assigned to the 230th Brigade Support Battalion, 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, North Carolina National Guard, based in Goldsboro, North Carolina, died on October 22, 2011 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, from wounds suffered when insurgents attacked her unit with an improvised explosive device. She is survived by her husband Captain Jason Stumpf, her parents Robert and Deborah, brother Josh, and sister Brittney.

Day 38 of the 50-day Paleo Challenge: Veteran's Day Paleo Potluck begins at 4:00pm!
The sign-up for the potluck is up on the white board! The festivities will begin at 4:00pm and go till about 8:00pm. It is B.Y.O.B. (bring your own beverages, yes, this means water too - Nor Cal Margaritas are okay). We will have a grill going, so bring your Paleo seasoned meats! So far we've got a ton of chili made by the contestants, shrimp kabobs, green chicken kabobs, veggie kabobs, Paleo chocolate cake, and veggies. What we still need people to bring: FRUITS, VEGGIES, MEATS, GUACAMOLE, paper goods and utensils.

Dinner: pork with asian veggie stir fry (shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts, green beans, carrots, onions, peppers, broccoli) (sauce: sambal olek, left over sweet sour sauce, dash of coconut aminos, dash of ground mustard)
Spoonful fish oil x3 after every meal

Lunch: opah cooked in coconut oil (w/cumin, tumeric, pepper), some broccoli, some green cabbage, 1/2 thai watermelon, mac nuts, flax snacks, fish oilx3
