Words from Coach Joe on his Strength Clinic:
"The point of this class is not to reinvent the wheel. The point is to help you get stronger and provide you with the tools to eat the weak. Like it or not strength has a lot to say about the quality of life each of us enjoys. Fact is that the stronger you are the more cool stuff you can do. The more cool stuff you can do the better you’ll feel about yourself. The better you feel about yourself… I think you get the point. 


The fundamentals of strength training start with the barbell. Load it, back squat it, press it, bench it, deadlift it (all correctly) and your well on your way to getting stronger. Throw in some pull ups, core work, mobility and you’ll be establishing dominance in most social settings. If you’re interested in the secrets (not so secret actually) behind denser, harder, bigger and generally stronger bones, muscles, and pretty much everything that matters in terms of movement and performance this clinic is for you. Sounds like everyone to me. Reserve a spot they are sure to go quick."

When: (choose either the Saturday class or the Sunday class)
Saturday class: June 23rd, June 30th & July 7th from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
Sunday class: June 24th, July 1st & 8th from 10:00am-Noon.
Cost: $25 per person (cash only please).  You can sign-up by emailing Coach Joe at joe@808crossfit.com! Please let him know which class you'd like to register for (either Saturdays or Sundays).

  1. Update on the clinic. As of 11:42 am on Thursday there are 3 spots left for Saturday and 1 Left for Sunday. Those of you that have emailed me I'll hold your spot for about a week waiting for payment. An envelope is in the gym with directions. If the class fills we can wait list you and if someone falls out we can get you in. Looking forward to it.
