CrossFit 808 wins the Hawaii Affiliate Showdown!

Above: The 1st annual Hawaii VA Loans CrossFit Showdown was a huge success, not only for CrossFit 808 but the community as well. I know the team and coaches agree the cheering and encouragement were the game changers.  Personally, I enjoyed competing at home in Hawaii much more than I do having to compete anywhere else.  I could not be more proud of the people I represent and get to coach everyday.  Very proud to be 808!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported your team, yesterday! They did outstanding work and brought home the golden Kettlebell by being the only team to finish the tough workout within the time cap.  In fact, they had time to spare: 25:59. So inspiring!

    Great job to all the 808er's that came out as well! It was great to have each and every one of you in attendance, supporting! It sure made a difference for me! Thanks to you all!

    Coach Josh's Paleo Challenge DAY 1: (truth be told)

    Breakfast: FASTED
    (why you ask?... a little alcohol/gluten/dairy intoxicated from night before... )

    Lunch: Half pound grilled chicken breast (with olive oil, pepper, lemon), spring salad mix with cucumbers and grape tomatoes, a fiji apple, some frozen grapes, two 85% dark chocolate squares, and fish oil.

    PWO: none

    Dinner: The other half of the pound grilled chicken breast (same as above), with a large bed of baby spinach and the equivalent of two mini-sweet onions dowsed with olive oil. A plum, another piece of 85% dark chocolate and fish oil. ALSO: samplers of baked kale chips and cauliflower rice ... mahalo roomies;)
